Vets at 77 aim to provide general in-hospital care for your beloved companions. Our area of expertise is in treating mostly cats and dogs with the view of branching out to lifestyle block animals like alpacas. We focus on a combined general practice and emergency medicine. The clinic has multiple consulting rooms, Surgical theatres, Wards for in hospital patients. An isolation facility is currently under construction.  

The clinic offers services including digital radiography, ultrasonography, dentistry, surgery, and in-house blood testing.

Our Veterinary Team

Dr. Jay (Senior Veterinarian)

Jay graduated from the University of Adelaide, Australia with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. He has been working in Auckland since graduating. He has experience working in a combination of general practice clinics and after-hours emergency clinic. His passion is emergency medicine and all aspects of general practice.

Dr. Irene (Veterinarian)

Irene graduated from Massey University. She has worked in small animal practices in central Waikato and Auckland. Her clinical interest is in surgery and emergency medicine. Irene is also fluent in speaking Mandarin. 

Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her two Jack Russell Terriers, Luffy and Chloe. They are the primary reason why she decided to pursue veterinary medicine. Irene’s other interests are painting and small crafts.

Bernadette (Veterinary Nurse)

Bernadette graduated from Unitec with a Diploma in Veterinary Nursing. In her spare time Bernadette enjoys Equestrian Eventing and spending time with her Golden Retriever, Winston. 

Bernadette also has a background in the beauty industry and also owns her own business, specializing in brows.

 

Chloe (Veterinary Nurse)

Chloe graduated from Vet Nurse plus with a diploma in Veterinary Nursing. Her clinical interests are in dentistry, surgery and emergency nursing. 

Chloe’s interests outside of work include playing football, hiking, and art. She also spends her time looking after her two grey cats Ash, and Zeppy and her Australian terrier Bertie.

Katy (Veterinary Nurse)
